Whilst digging holes and planting, and the soil is still damp from the heavy rain we had recently. It got me thinking about gardens in Richard III’s time, and how different they would have been from present day gardens. Then I found this image – and except for the barbeque – are they so very different? What do you think?

 

My garden became a pigeon-free zone when our builder brought his pet along, to keep him company whilst he relaid our terrace in the Summer.
